Screenplay:
Mardi Harper’s life is turned upside down when the ghost of Socrates drops by to fix his new trial and her love life.
Mardi is a famous, frustrated writer who lives inside the safety of her tales. She meets the ghost of the man who will force her to take a step outside.
Socrates has a chance to prove to the world he was right… the first time… via a class project where the ancient philosopher is re-tried for his crimes. He realizes his only chance at survival… the second time… is for Mardi to believe.
A wealth of understanding from the old man, combined with a chance to find love with a real one, gives Mardi the faith to believe in both.
