Something has gone wrong with a top-secret biological warfare experiment at the CIA. After the assassination of the Russian Ambassador, Martin Reismann of the CIA finds he has to work with Sergei Petrov of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service to find the killer. As they follow the trail of an assassin, they discover a hidden gene splice from a CIA experiment has made its way into the Russian grain supply. The contaminated seed is growing across the former Soviet Union. Reismann and Petrov have to find the fields. If they fail, a second cold war is inevitable, but this one will unleash weapons never seen before and impossible to stop with a cease fire.
